I seriously recommend these brushes for any brush enthusiast!

Comic Book/ Pop Art Girl! Halloween Look #4

Hey guys!

This was a fast look I did for a Halloween party I attended last weekend! I had one hour to get my costume and makeup ready and this is the look I came up with. I didn't have time to tediously put dots on my face seeing as I was exhausted from work- however I think it turned out pretty cool and for those who understood my costume enjoyed it as well :)

For those who didn't know where I was going with this, I was inspired by pop artist, Roy Lichtenstein and just general comic book characters like Veronica from Archie.

Photo taken by me and background edited for effect :)
Lipstick is Candy Yum Yum by MAC

Zombie Girl Makeup! Halloween Look #3!

Hey Guys!
Was feeling extra creative today and created this zombie girl makeup for look number 3 in my Halloween Series! This look was based off the zombie pin up look but I decided to add some scary elements like the veins and the bloody mouth. This look is perfect for those who want to look both sexy and scary...kind of like my last one :)
Hope you enjoy!

As I've said previously, all pictures taken by me and edited by me. Just played with the contrast and brightness of the photos and altered the background to get the best picture quality. :)

Thank you!

MINI Haul! Forever 21, MAC and Bath and Body Works!

Hey Guys!
So I decided to treat myself a few days ago and went shopping :) I kind of have a shopping addiction and I try to stay away from the shops but sometime I can't help it!
I mainly went to the mall to purchase MAC's Riri Woo from the new Rihanna <3's MAC Fall collection! The packaging is absolutely insanely beautiful; rose gold and light pink..it bascially has my name written all over it *sigh*. I wanted to get Riri Woo because it's essentially Ruby Woo but maybe one or two tones darker. but HELLO, the packaging people!! I can't even deal <3 I also got a new Studio Fix powder foundation (Holy Grail) in NC25 ;)

Next stop, Bath and Body Works! I was never really into candles before because I found the smell to be always over powering and nauseating to be honest however, in the summer I purchased a big sized three wick candle named 'Cotton'. This candle literally smells like fresh laundry and I die every time I light it!
So i walked in to the store and OF COURSE everything is fall themed and smelling like pumpkin spice and all things warm and cozy so I gave in and bought 3 mini candles for $10.
The ones I chose are: Pumpkin Caramel Latte (so yummy), Farmstand Apple (apple picking, apple juice, deliciously yummy) and Bergamot Woods (manly cologne...extra yum).

And finally I stopped by Forever 21. I literally cannot go there WITHOUT purchasing something. It's a problem people!
I browsed the store, wanting everything if I were a millionaire, but alas I'm not..so I tried on a few things and ended up leaving with *SHOCKER* two cream colored sweaters. I mean, it's always all black everything with me, but these sweaters were SO CUTE and comfy I just couldn't say no ;)

Thanks for reading! Until next time <3

Elvira Inspired Halloween Makeup Look! #1

Hey Everyone!
I've decided that this year I will do 1 look every week (starting this week) leading up to Halloween!
It's that time of the year where we get dressed up and transform ourselves into someone else- It's pretty much a makeup artist's dream, or at least it's mine. It's my favorite time of the year because I get to scour the internet looking for inspiration. The first look was directly inspired by Elvira, The Mistress of Darkness. The inspiration came suddenly when I was watching the most recent episode of Face Off and Elvira showed up to judge a foundation challenge! I was immediately inspired by her dark, colorful and drag-like makeup that right after the episode ended, I ran to my makeup room and began recreating the look.
So there we have it, my first halloween look of 2013- I hope you enjoy :)
